THURSDAY DANCE CLASSES & GUIDED PRACTICE PARTY
Every Thursday at Winter Park Ballroom Dance Co., join a fun evening designed for new students to learn, practice, and build confidence with help from our teachers.
Classes run 6:00–6:45 PM and 6:45–7:30 PM, followed by the guided practice party from 7:30–8:30 PM. ONE CLASS-CARD PUNCH COVERS THE ENTIRE NIGHT: both classes and the party.
During the practice party, we work through Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Hustle, and Triple Swing/East Coast Swing, plus Merengue. Teachers help everyone along the way so you can ask questions, repeat your patterns, try different styles, and enjoy learning as you go.
Our simple four-pattern combinations help you remember your steps and feel more comfortable on the dance floor. This is a relaxed practice party for new students, with guidance and encouragement throughout the evening.

Ballroom Dancing: A Natural No-Phone Zone
Looking for something fun to do away from your screen? Social dancing gives you a reason to put your phone away and enjoy the moment. Your hands are busy, the music is playing, and your attention is on your partner and the next step.
At Winter Park Ballroom Dance Co., adults in their thirties, forties, and beyond can learn something new, meet people, and enjoy real conversation. Come solo, bring your partner, or try a different kind of date night. No dance experience needed.
Our natural no-phone zone is an invitation to be present while dancing. Take a break from notifications, move to the music, and have fun learning together.
Start with our Thursday classes from 6:00–6:45 and 6:45–7:30 PM, followed by guided practice from 7:30–8:30 PM. One class-card punch covers the entire evening. Check the updated studio calendar for class topics and special nights.
First Wednesday Ballroom Party — $15
Our public ballroom party takes place only on the FIRST WEDNESDAY of each month.
Class: 6:45–7:30 PM
Party: 7:30–9:30 PM
