About Winter Park Ballroom
Practical social dancing for everyday adults. We are a locally owned, independent studio in Winter Park, led by owner and teacher Mark Arnott, with over 20 years of experience serving Central Florida’s dance community.
Our goal is simple: help you feel comfortable and confident on the dance floor. Come on your own, as a couple, or with a friend. No partner or experience needed.

How we teach
Each regular group class teaches a practical four-move combination, blending beginner and intermediate moves that connect naturally. We repeat and practice it during class so you can remember the steps and use them socially.
Dance topics rotate according to the published calendar. Check the schedule for the dance taught on each date.

Who We Are
More than dance lessons
Our roots are in social dancing: learning in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and building confidence through practice. We teach useful skills for weddings, cruises, parties and nights out with friends.
As an independent studio, we offer personal attention and flexible ways to learn. Private lessons, group classes and guided practice help you progress at your own pace.
Dancing is also a natural break from your phone. Enjoy the music, connect with your partner and meet people in a friendly community. Singles and couples are welcome.
